Silicone rubber,pad printing silicone rubber is mainly used for printing irregular patterns of plastic toys, electroplating products, electronic toys, trademarks. Silicon pad is a carrier  which transfer printing the patterns on the steel plate onto the toy products' surface.

Pad printing silicone rubber operation instructions:

Pad printing silicone rubber is two-component silicone, part A is the liquid silicone rubber, part B is the catalyst. The usual mxing ratio for silicone rubber and catalyst is 100 : 2-3, eg. we take 100grams of liquid silicone rubber,then we add 2-3 grams catalyst, mix then evenly and pour it to your mold. Then after 2-4 hours, you will obtain a printing pad.

Admixture amount of curing agent and silicon rubber reactions:
5.1Added with 1% of curing agent,silicon can still flow within 2.5 hours,mold can be released  in 6-8 hours.
5.2Added with 2% of curing agent,silicon can still flow within 50 minutes to 1 hour,mold can be released in 2-3 hour
5.3Added with 3% of curing agent,silicon can still flow within 28-30 minutes,mold can be released in 1.5-2 hours.
5.4Added with 4% of curning agent,silicon can still flow within 10-15 minutes,mold can be released in 1-1.5 hours.
5.5 Curing agent reaction rate is related with weather and temperature. Under 25 degree,they can be added according to the instruction or at double amount in winter or under subzero temperature.

(Note: curing agent can not be added above the 4 maximum level and the normal proportion is 2.If more than 4 is applied,the silicon will condensate too fast for normal usage).Above is the mixing data for silicon and curing agent,the precise result of hundreds of times of our experiments. Why does the silicone pad can not drop oil well?

 During the process of manufacturing toys, the steel mold need to spray the release agent for every dozens of products, the first or second product exists lots of release agent on the surface regarding the mold having just sprayed with the release agent. It is very normal that the incomplete printing patterns of more than 2 in 10 plastic toys or products which are not sprayed with paint  may not drop ink well. If the product is directly taken for pad printing before being cleaned by the thinner, hence, the phenomenon just arises.
